  • In Piazza San Pantaleo, on a pedestal there is a large statue of Pasquino, one of six talking statues of Rome..
        
  • crossing the busy Via Vittorio Emanuele II you will arrive in Piazza of the Chancellery. 
        
  • from here you come right in Campo dei Fiori.
             
  • a small street leads at Piazza Farnese with the imposing Palazzo Farnese.
        
  • taking a left to Via Capo di Ferro you reach in just few minutes Palazzo Spada.
           
  • Continue on your right along Via dei Pettinari, so you arrive just in front of the Tiber, where the magnificent Ponte Sisto.
            
  • crossing the bridge you will be in Piazza Trilussa, that take the name from the poet, originally from Trastevere, lived at the beginning of 1900.
         
        
  • The square will be your starting point to discover the Trastevere district.
         
        
  • it's nice to get lost in the narrow streets and alleys of Trastevere to savor the smells and the spirit of the place ..... but if you do not have much time then continue along Vicolo del Cinque and you will be in Piazza St. Egidio, including wine bars, shops and restaurants you will arrive in Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, the heart of Trastevere. From here, you continue on Via della Lungaretta to Piazza Sidney Sonnino.     
        
  • if you cross Viale Trastevere, you go straight ahead, you will arrive in Piazza in Piscinula and into Piazza della Gensola here that magically you find yourself on Lungotevere, this time in front of you lies the magic Tiberina Island
            
  • if you cross Bridge Cestius, 62 BC, in within seconds you will be at the center of the island.

 

  • to reach the other side of the river you have to go along Ponte Fabricio and you'll be at the gates of the Ghetto of Rome, immediately to the left there is the Synagogue of 1900.
